Stepping into the world of fantasy toys is an exciting adventure, but it often brings up one very important question: What size should I get?
Unlike traditional toys, fantasy creations come with unique textures, dramatic tapers, and bulbous knots. A "medium" in a dragon-inspired toy might feel completely different from a "medium" in an alien design. Getting the right fit is the difference between an uncomfortable stretch and mind-blowing pleasure.
At Kinky Kreatures, we want you to shop with absolute confidence. That’s why we’ve built industry-leading sizing tools directly into our website. Here is how to use them to find your perfect match.
1. The Numbers: Metric and Imperial Measurements
The first step in choosing a toy is understanding the hard numbers. On every single product page, we break down the exact dimensions of the toy. Because our community is global, we provide all measurements in both metric (cm) and imperial (inches).
When looking at the specs, pay close attention to:
Total Length vs. Usable Length: Total length includes the base (which stays outside the body), while usable length is the portion designed for insertion.
Shaft Circumference: This is the general girth of the main body of the toy.
Knot/Widest Circumference: If you are buying a knotted toy or a sheath, this is the most critical measurement! Make sure your body is ready and warmed up for this specific maximum width.
2. Get a Feel for the Shape: The 3D Model Sizing Tool
Numbers on a screen are helpful, but they don't always tell the whole story. A toy with a gradual taper will feel much smaller than a toy with a sudden, blunt knot—even if their maximum circumferences are the same.
To help you visualise the anatomy, every product page features an interactive 3D model sizing tool. You don’t have to guess what the back of the toy looks like or how steep the knot is. You can click, drag, spin, and zoom in on the 3D model right in your browser to inspect every ridge, bump, and curve from every angle.
3. See it in Real Life: The Augmented Reality (AR) Button
Have you ever used a ruler to try and imagine how big a toy will actually be in person? We have completely eliminated that guesswork.
If you are browsing on a compatible mobile device, simply tap the AR (Augmented Reality) button on the product page. This feature uses your phone’s camera to project a true-to-scale, 1:1 holographic model of the toy directly into your room.
Place it on your bed, next to a toy you already own, or on your nightstand. Seeing the toy in your physical space provides an immediate, intuitive understanding of its actual size and bulk. It is the absolute best way to ensure the creature you are taking home is exactly the size you can handle.
Start Small and Work Your Way Up
If you are torn between two sizes, our general rule of thumb is to start smaller. Fantasy shapes can be deceptively filling! A smaller, highly textured toy can often provide more intense stimulation than a larger, smoother one. You can always level up to the next size for your next adventure.
